Each full load of the applicator dispenses the same amount of compound as one standard Green Glue tube, keeping application rates consistent and predictable across the job.

Simply insert the orange intake tip into the pail, draw back the plunger, and dispense using the trigger for smooth, even coverage.

Consistent Coverage for Soundproofing Drywall

Application rates remain the same as standard tube use:

• 2 full dispenser loads per 4’ x 8’ drywall sheet
• Apply around the perimeter, leaving a 2" edge
• Stagger drywall joints between layers for optimal sound control

This makes the applicator ideal for multi-room, multi-layer soundproofing installations.

How to Use the Green Glue Pail Applicator Gun

1. Unscrew the nozzle ring and insert a dispensing tip, then reattach
2. Cut the tip to create a ½" opening
3. Dip the orange intake tip into the 5-gallon pail
4. Press the rod recoil button and pull back the plunger to load
5. Pull the trigger to dispense compound
6. Apply 2 dispenser loads per 4’ x 8’ drywall sheet
7. Screw drywall into the first layer, staggering joints
8. Seal wall, floor, and ceiling joints with acoustic caulk
9. Clean with warm water and soap (barrel and plunger detach for easy cleaning)
